Perhaps the most exciting advancement in dentistry is Implantology.

Oral implants act as the equivalent of new tooth roots upon which fixed replacement teeth are secured, thus replacing missing teeth with crowns and bridges to eliminate removable partial or loose dentures. All lab work is done by experienced technicians under Dr. Hellwig’s strict supervision and control. We use only the finest porcelains, gold alloys and materials.

Dr. Hellwig is a general dentist who attended and graduated from the world famous Misch International Implant Institute. He received his Fellowship in implantology from the Misch Institute after presenting completed cases and passing a written exam in implantology and defending his cases orally to the Misch Board. He participated in live surgeries and restorative procedures on a variety of implant cases.

He is a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and shares this honor with other general dentists and specialists in the United States and worldwide.

He has extensive surgical and restorative experience in the field of implantology. He attended the Loma Linda University continuing education implant study group for many years. He trained with Loma Linda Implantology residents and faculty and performed surgical procedures in the operating room where he successfully completed cases on his own patients and other doctor’s patients.

Dr. Hellwig is a Fellow and Master in the Academy of General Dentistry and a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
